Focusing on the rice business, the company's main activity involves the processing, packaging, marketing and distribution of rice that have become popular household brand names. The company's leading brands Mr. Thai, Butterfly, Royal Chrysanthemum, Liansin Fresh, Padi Gedong, Cap Amoi, Uncle Tan and 3A Boy are well known for their excellent quality.

Liansin was the 1st rice wholesaler in Sarawak to achieve the Halal Certificate by Jabatan Agama Islam Sarawak.

Liansin was selected as one of the winner of "Golden Bull Award 2005" in August 2005

Liansin was a HACCP certified company in 2008. It has the top management system in which food safety is addressed through the analysis and control of biological, chemical, and physical hazards from raw material production, procurement and handling, to manufacturing, distribution and consumption of the finished product.
